 Collywood 2011 Collywood
Students enjoyed a glamorous evening out at the Capital Arts Centre for the fifth Collywood Film and Television awards night. This was the College’s annual event to celebrate the skills and achievements of its most skilled and creative Media and Film Studies students. Categories included best A/S Film Studies Short Film and best A2 Media Studies Live Television Production.

The latest Dance department programme, at the Capitol in Horsham, included performances based on the professional repertory of choreographers such as Alvin Ailey, Robert North and Richard Alston, alongside the students’ own choreographic exam projects.
  Art, Craft and Design
This is a selection of student work demonstrating the diversity of approach within the popular A Level in Art, Craft and Design course.
  Graphics
The A Level Graphic Communication course is taken alongside the more general A Level in Art, Craft & Design and enjoys a Mac suite to complement their studio-based activities.
  Textiles
This work highlights the specialist A Level Textiles course which students are able to complete alongside the more general A Level in Art, Craft & Design.
  Exhibitions
The Art Department exhibits within the local area at least twice a year alongside our major Summer Show.
  Portfolios
Our comprehensive Arts Careers programme helps students to develop strong portfolios and interview techniques for Higher Education applications. Portfolios may draw work from other A Levels within the Art, Media and Technology Faculty if appropriate.
  Sketchbooks
Sketchbooks are at the heart of all the courses delivered by the Art Department at Collyer's. These examples give a glimpse of the individual approaches students are encouraged to develop as an integral part of their studies.
   Photography
A level Photography is a creative and practical course which combines technical aspects of photography with the aesthetic art of image making. Students employ both traditional and digital technologies in their work
