This package is designed for those who want to enter into the health care profession. It can be completed as a one year course. Some undertake it as part of a gap year to gain experience before applying to university where they work towards further qualifications in care or nursing.
To complete the full course you will need to working in a care setting for 16 hours per work. You can attend the theory only until you have a work placement. This may aid your application.
