Supporting Teaching & Learning (Level 3)

This package is designed for those that are supporting teaching and learning in schools and are in a more senior role with responsibility in their setting. It covers all modules that the government feels it is important for someone in this role to have.

You will create a portfolio to show your Maths, English, ICT, Employer Rights and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills competence. You will also create a portfolio of evidence from your workplace and taught college sessions on how you are Supporting Teaching and Learning.

If you have undertaken some modules before you will not need to repeat them.

All student attend the CACHE Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (Level 3 Certificate) on a Wednesday evening. Additional modules can be taken with varying levels of support or taught sessions as required and may be spread over a second year.

You will need to have 16 hours a week (term time only is suitable) paid work in a classroom setting.

You will have an interview prior to being enrolled on these courses.
