Italian Stage 1
About the course
The aim of this recreational course is to develop basic communication skills in practical situations for beginners who intend to use the language on holiday or for work. The emphasis will be on developing your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
More specifically, the course will cover the following topics:
Introducing yourself and other people (greetings, nationality, numbers)
Order food and drinks in a café or restaurant
Talk about hobbies and what you like/don’t like to do in your spare time
Book a room in a hotel, ask information about rental properties (talk
about furniture,describe a room)
Describe a place and ask for directions
Talk about holidays and tell events in the past tense
Food shopping (talk about favourite foods and local food)
Talk about your day
Talk about your family

No previous experience is necessary, just an interest in the Italian language and culture.

There are no fee reductions for this course. We do, however, offer a full refund during the first two weeks should you decide not to progress with the course.
Instalment options are available for the full year course. A £150 deposit is payable to secure a place.
