The Access to Higher Education Diploma in Healthcare Professions
(including Nursing, Midwifery, Social Care, Occupational Therapy
and other Health & Social Care Professions)
Our Access to Higher Education Diploma prepares learners without traditional qualifications for university study and is the equivalent to A-Level – Level 3.
This is an intensive one-year course for those looking to progress to University to study a degree related to the areas of Nursing and Healthcare, Health and Social Care, which includes, nursing, mental health nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, social work, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, radiography and other relevant disciplines.

Learners will attend classes two evenings a week plus one Saturday a month at our Horsham campus. The course includes modules on:

Maths and English at GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or the Level 2 equivalent) are a requirement for this course. We also offer Pre-Access courses in the form of Functional Skills and GCSEs for those who do not already hold these qualifications.
