This course looks at life processes and living things, with an emphasis on human functioning.

This is a Foundation Level course, so Grades 5-1 are available to students.
You should expect to complete 3 hours of homework per week in addition to class attendance and exam revision
There are no formal entry requirements, however, students should have a good standard of English and Maths.
There are two written exams.
Please bring paper, pens, pencils and a folder with dividers.
We aim to deliver this course in a face to face classroom setting.Our arrangements for course delivery will be regularly reviewed in line with the relevant government guidance. If situations change, your course may require an element of blended learning. This means some sessions may be virtual classrooms using technology such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. So, you will therefore need access to a PC, laptop, or other suitable device. These sessions may be full classes, or provide work set online to undertake during the session.

How to apply
Students must attend a college induction prior to the course start.
This course is co-funded by the Government meaning that all students benefit from reduced fees.
Full funding may be available for learners who are unemployed, are employed and earn less than £16,009.50 per annum or who are aged19-23 and don’t hold a first full Level 2 qualification. Contact us to find out more
