About the course
This course looks at life processes and living things, with an emphasis on human functioning.
Content includes:
Cell biology
Organisation
Infection and response
Bioenergetics
Homeostasis and response
Inheritance, variation and evolution
Ecology
This is a Foundation Level course, so Grades 5-1 are available to students.
You should expect to complete 3 hours of homework per week in addition to class attendance and exam revision
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, however, students should have a good standard of English and Maths.
Assessment
There are two written exams.
Equipment
Please bring paper, pens, pencils and a folder with dividers.

This course is co-funded by the Government meaning that all students benefit from reduced fees.
