28 HOW TO APPLY We welcome applications from students from across the UK and overseas. Applying to Collyer’s is a straightforward process: Step 1: Attend an Open Evening 13th November and 14th November at 6:30pm. Visit the College and talk to staff and students. Parents and guardians are very welcome to attend. Step 2: Complete an Online Application Students at a partner school should submit their online application no later than 31st December 2019. Collyer’s partner schools are The Forest School, Millais School, Oathall Community College, Tanbridge House School and Warden Park Secondary Academy. Students at a partner school will be guaranteed a place at Collyer’s, so long as minimum requirements are met. Students attending any other school should submit their online application no later than 31st January 2020. We will accept late applications on an individual basis, subject to availability at the time of application. The online application system will remain open until the end of April. Paper applications may be submitted after this date. You can find the online application form at Step 3: Attend an Interview At interview, academic staff will give you advice on appropriate subjects and different types of study. Students at a partner school will be interviewed at their school in February/ March 2020. Collyer’s will send an invitation to you via email. All other students will be invited to interview at Collyer’s on 11th February 2020. The College will send an invitation to you via email. Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer at the end of their interview (subject to final GCSE grades) and a satisfactory reference. Step 4: Attend a Welcome Day All successful applicants will be invited to attend a Welcome Day on either 29th June or 30th June 2020. Students will be able to learn more about different subject areas through taster sessions, meet an enrolment advisor, make changes to their course choices, and be given details of the arrangements for the start of term. Please complete an online application form to begin the process. The Admissions Team will ask for you to supply proof of English proficiency and school reports so that a comparison may be made against UK entry requirements. We will ask you to attend an interview at Collyer’s in person. International Students We welcome applications from non- European (EEA) countries for full-time study. Please do not complete an online application. An international application form can be requested from the Admissions Team. Please refer to or contact
