News Everybody Loves Raymond 20.11.2018

Gifted artist Raymond Warren visited Collyer’s last week for a lively TV style Q&A with 50 students, focussing on his career journey, which gave a fascinating insight into his work in local government across the south east and time spent in the United States helping with the Kohn Kerry presidential election campaign!

Lucy Hargreaves, Collyer’s Employability Programme Co-ordinator, said: “It was so inspiring to hear about Raymond’s drive, determination and focus on what’s been important to him on his career path.

“Our students really enjoyed the lively Q&A and loved hearing his witty anecdotes about working on the campaign trail. It was so kind of Raymond to give up so much of his valuable time to prepare for and take part in today’s lively session.

“We were all truly inspired and everybody loved hearing his story.”

Raymond told the students: “I’ve been really impressed with your keenness and your questions; you are so lucky to have the chance to attend this outstanding college.”
