Creative Digital Media Production BTEC National Level 3 (Pearson) The BTEC National in Creative Digital Media Production is designed to provide a specialist work related programme of study that covers the knowledge and skills required to progress successfully in the workplace but also provides a firm basis for higher education. Single Specific entry requirements Grade 4 in Maths + Grade 4 in English Language Engineering BTEC National Extended Certificate (AAQ) Level 3 (Pearson) This AAQ Extended Certificate is a single option and is the equivalent of one A level. It is designed to support progression into a range of engineering careers by way of either employment, apprenticeship or higher education degree course. Students will study a mixture of engineering concepts involving Maths, Physics, Mechanics principles, Electrical principles, and Engineering design. Assessment is through a combination of a written exam and a time-limited controlled assignment combined with coursework assignments. The course is delivered via a range of practical activities and theory-based sessions with an emphasis on the application of engineering principles to the real world. Students produce written reports and make presentations, analyse how real circuitry compares to computer simulations, use CAD to produce drawings and design improvements in case studies.
