Collyer’s Parents’ Forum (formerly Collyer’s Association)

We are a group of parents and guardians who work to encourage close co-operation between all those associated with Collyer’s for the benefit of the students and the college.

We welcome all parents and guardians to join the forum to share their thoughts and ideas at our termly meetings.

If you would like to get involved more then please contact Parents Forum:

The Parents’ Forum also works to support the activities of the students through fundraising efforts.  Money raised through the Collyer’s Parents’ Lottery and other events will be used to support the Richard Collyer Union (Student Union) with the events they run.  This year, these will include a Wellbeing Week for the whole college and a Leavers’ Event for second year students.

The Forum also runs a Student Sponsorship Scheme, which supports individual students with their extra-curricular activities.  Last year the Parents’ Forum shared over £2000 to help students with diverse projects, ranging from funding a student in competing for a place on the GB Climbing Team, to helping a student fundraise for a trip to South Africa to volunteer on a cheetah conservation project.  We are looking forward to funding more students’ endeavours this year.

Join this year’s Collyer’s Parents’ Lottery (previously the 300 Club)

Another popular fundraising event is our lottery-style monthly draw.  Buy/renew your shares – £10 each – with no family limit. The chance of winning is better than most raffles!  Prize money is 50% of contributions; so the more money in the pot, the more we give away. There will be three CASH PRIZES each month for 10 months, from £10 upwards.

Or you can make a donation of any amount from £10.  We can claim Gift Aid on all donations made.
