  • Chemistry Olympiad success

    Front row : Evie Button (Bronze), Tom Jackson (Bronze), Wui Lam Chan (Silver), Chun Kit Yuen (Bronze) Matt Castle (Commendation).  In addition, Sam Bolitho achieved a Commendation.

    Students dominate at Chemistry Olympiad 2012
    Seven students opted to do the 1st round of the RSC Chemistry Olympiad, which involved them taking a very challenging two hour written paper.

    thirty-three students drawn from Chemistry, Physics and the Biology departments visited a world-class research facility located in the Oxfordshire country-side.

    A level History students hear from Professor Ladislaus Löb
    as part of a visit organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET).Ann Mutluer, who is Head of Faculty for Humanities and Liberal Arts and Subject Leader for History said: “Professor’s Löb’s talk was the culmination of our year-long focus on the survivors of the Holocaust, which has included an exhibition and visit to Auschwitz.
