News Collyer’s Netball Complete County Treble 16.12.2025

Collyer’s 1s secured an incredible 30-41 victory away to Seaford College, their third win in eight days against Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire colleges.

With several players missing from last week’s famous triumph away at Peter Symonds College Winchester, and Wednesday’s astonishing comeback win at home to Reigate College, many thought Thursday’s clash against a quality Seaford College team would be a game too far. But this served only to motivate this indefatigable Collyer’s side who maintained high skill and intensity levels throughout a thrilling match.

Co-captain Alexis Park-Griffiths said: “To win back to back Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire derbies against some of the top college teams in the South of England was a fantastic team effort!”

Widely regarded as one of the top coaches in college Netball, Michelle Peckham was delighted: “To beat three of the top teams across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire in the space of eight days is quite frankly ludicrous. It has to be a Collyer’s record. The squad players who stepped up were incredible. I’m lost for words. I could not be happier!”

Collyer’s Deputy Principal Steve Martell added: “This Collyer’s team has the potential to be our best ever. They are absolute box office.”

At the end of the game Seaford College awarded their player of the match to Collyer’s Millie Hill, who was excellent throughout the contest.

John Burroughs, Head of the Collyer’s Sports Academy said: “Our Sports Academy at Collyer’s goes from strength to strength and our Netball team are certainly blazing a trail across the region.”
