Part of the Horsham Learning Alliance (HLA), Collyer’s is one of the country’s top sixth form colleges. We have an exciting opportunity for a Careers Adviser.
The Careers Adviser will work alongside our existing Careers Advisor within the Progression Team, and across the HLA Trust, to provide a professional careers information, advice and guidance service to support students’ progression planning. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an educational setting providing Careers IAG, up to date knowledge of the labour market, employability skills and career pathways and the ability to empathise with, motivate, inspire and relate to young people.
There is some flexibility in the work pattern for the 21 hours per week.

Salary: For a candidate with a Careers qualification, Point 16 to Point 20 on the Support Staff Pay Scale. The annual salary for a FT post in this range is £33,232pa to £37,734pa depending on skills and experience which equates to £15,814pa to £17,956pa prorated for 21 hours p/w term time only (0.4758 fte 43.6 weeks paid per year). For a candidate working towards a level 6 in Careers IAG, salary level would be dependent on level of expertise.
