Vacancies Student Services Officer

Term-time only (43.6 weeks paid per year)

We are looking for a suitably skilled and experienced person to work within our busy Student Services Team. Student Services Officers support a wide range of pastoral functions at the college, both administratively and through direct interaction with students, parents and staff. Their work covers student enquiries, student financial support, absence reporting, wellbeing triage, safeguarding (1-1 support and record-keeping), liaison with parents and external services, student progression and administrative support for the disciplinary process. Ideally this post would be 3 days per week Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid break each day.  We would consider spreading the hours over 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) for the right candidate.

Salary: Point 6 to Point 7 on the Support Staff Pay Scale. The annual salary for a full time post in this range is £25,558 rising to £25,951pa. which equates to £13,031pa rising to £13,231pa prorated for 22.5 hours pw term time only (0.5098fte).
