The Access to Higher Education Diploma
Our Access to Higher Education Diploma prepares learners without traditional qualifications for university study.
This qualification is recognised as an alternative route to university for those who do not hold the relevant A-Levels to apply for a degree course. Our Access students come from a range of backgrounds, from those who have recently left College to those who are seeking a change of career.
This intensive one-year course will help you to develop a range of different skills and knowledge, as well as preparing you for the challenges of independent study.
You’ll study modules on biology, health studies, psychology and study skills. You’ll be assessed using a variety of methods, including essays, presentations, and a research project. We will also support you with your application to university.
Maths and English at GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or the Level 2 equivalent) are a requirement for this course. We offer Pre-Access options for those who do not already hold these qualifications.
