About the course

This course is suitable for students with some creative ability, wishing to spend a year learning the essentials of Graphic Design and who want to build a portfolio of work to enable them to apply for further study in design or secure employment in this industry.
Your tutor is an experienced A Level Graphics teacher with industry experience in advertising, design groups and publishing.
Topics covered include:

• Typography
• Branding
• Corporate ID
• Advertising
• Illustration
• Animation

You will use digital and traditional, techniques and materials, to consolidate this knowledge and learning, and create work for your portfolio.

Delivery

Learners will attend weekly lessons in college. Materials are included in the course fees.

Learners also benefit from access to the college library during our evening opening times, including computers, study stations, print-based and electronic learning materials, printers and scanners.

Course suitability

This course is suitable for anyone who wishes to develop their graphic design skills, and who has some creative ability.

Fees

A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable at the point of booking and the remainder of the course fees are due one week before the course start.

Course fees are the same for all students – there are no concessions available.
