News Collyer’s Miki helps to deliver food during isolation 18.05.2020

Miki Navratilova, Collyer’s Information Systems Developer, has been part of a voluntary team helping Horsham Market home deliver orders to customers in isolation. Miki has been part of the team packing orders, prior to delivery.

Horsham Market, like many other businesses, has adapted it’s business model during the pandemic. The number of stalls at the Saturday market has been reduced from over 30 to a handful of essential food stalls and an online ordering system has been introduced that offers click and collect and home delivery services to those in isolation. Volunteers have been assisting with the collation, packing and delivery of these orders each Saturday at the market.

Collyer’s Deputy Principal Steve Martell said: “Miki is a valued member of the Collyer’s community and we are hugely proud of her efforts supporting Horsham Market and the wider community during these difficult times.”
