News Collyer’s Open Evening “Inspiring” 19.11.2025
Collyer’s recently welcomed prospective students and their supporters to the leading sixth form college’s Autumn Open Evenings. Pupils from across the region got the chance to speak to students and staff also enjoyed an interactive Q&A session with Student Ambassadors.
Student Ambassador Charlotte said: “The atmosphere on both nights was amazing. I’ve had a great time at Collyer’s, so it was a good opportunity to give something back!”
Collyer’s Director of Admissions, Helen Lobb said: “It was a pleasure to welcome a record number of pupils from across the region and help them explore Post 16 opportunities, wherever they choose to study.”
Deputy Principal Steve Martell, who hosted the Q&A with Student Ambassadors, was delighted: “Colossal thanks to everyone within the Collyer’s community for making this event so successful. I am incredibly proud of our subject and college student ambassadors who generously gave up their time and were hugely inspiring. They genuinely care about helping the next generation on their next steps.”
Student Ambassador Khadijat added: “We have been presenting assemblies with Steve and Helen at schools since last July, so it was great to see some familiar faces and show them our college.”
