Collyer’s year 13 students recently attended their Leavers’ 2025 Festival, to say farewell to one another and give thanks to the college’s founder, Richard Collyer, who started the institution back in 1532.

Enrichment prizes were presented to students by Principal Dan Lodge, Deputy Principal Steve Martell, Vice Principal (Pastoral) Andrea John and Vice Principal (Curriculum) Rob Hussey. During the ceremony, the audience enjoyed a reading by Dan Lodge and presentations and performances from the RCU (student union), College Choir, robotics, music, and dance students.

After the presentation ceremony students enjoyed the 2025 Festival, including live music, food, entertainment, crazy golf, juggling; football, photo-booth, chocolate fountain, table tennis, art exhibition and a bouncy castle and assault course on the college playing fields.

Andrea John, Vice Principal (Pastoral) said: “Massive thanks to Rebecca Adams, Emma Iavarone, and the teams responsible for making this year’s festival so memorable for our departing students!

“A fitting way to say farewell while remembering our founder, Richard Collyer.”
