News NHS Comfort packs for Princess Royal Hospital 11.05.2020

Collyer’s business studies teacher Dibby Whale’s amazing children have been working hard creating comfort packs for staff at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

Dibby explained: “They asked friends and family to donate lip balm, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand creams, soaps, energy bars, sweets, mints, coffee and biscuits and then made a total of 80 Comfort Packs. I was later told that they were so lovely and thoughtfully put together that they were kept back especially for intensive care staff and made some of the team cry happy tears!”

Collyer’s Deputy Principal Steve Martell said: “These children are so thoughtful, creative and kind. I know Dibby is incredibly proud of them and I think they are absolutely superb role models for us all!”
