Spanish A level students recently got a taste of Spain without leaving their classroom! Lap-tops, pens and paper were replaced with peelers and pans as the students prepared a potato omelette and gazpacho, both Spanish picnic staples! Head of Spanish, Milagros Herguedas said: “Learning a language is important, but a key part of the course also involves tasting cultural aspects, including the food!
“Massive thanks to the Health and Social Care team at Collyer’s for the use of their kitchen. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session and worked well as a team. The proof was in the tasting – definitely an A* grade!”
