Collyer’s recently ran a UK Border Force careers Q&A with Simon Turner (Border Force Officer) in a session facilitated by Deputy Principal Steve Martell. Simon kindly took time to answer a range of questions from the students about his significant experience working in UK Border Control. Apprentice routes and a range of career paths were also explored during a lively and inspiring session.
Lucy Hargreaves, Collyer’s Employability Programme Co-odinator, planned the event. She was delighted: “Simon spoke with great enthusiasm about UK Border Force careers and the students were certainly actively engaged, asking thoughtful, interesting questions.”
Deputy Principal Steve Martell said: “Huge thanks to Simon Turner, who is an absolute credit to our UK Border Force professionals. The feedback from the students has been incredibly positive and we were pleased to welcome him to Collyer’s.”
