Vacancies Science Technician – Physics
Term Time Only (43.6 weeks paid per year)
24 hours per week
We are looking for a Science Technician to support the learning and teaching of students, through the provision of technical support primarily for A Level Physics and Applied Science. The successful applicant will have appropriate experience of laboratory processes, maintaining equipment, and awareness of the relevant Health and Safety measures in a 16-19 educational setting.
The hours are flexible to suit the successful candidate but will include a Friday and hours would ideally be spread over 4 days. The successful candidate may need to be flexible on occasion to start earlier or stay later to meet the needs of the department in agreement with the line manager.

Salary: The salary for this post is Point 6 rising to Point 7 on the Support Staff Scale. The annual salary for a full-time post is £25,558pa rising to £25,951pa which is £13,900 pa rising to £14,113 prorated for 24 hours pw term time only (43.6 weeks paid per year 0.5438 fte)
