We are looking for Study Support Assistants/Study Support Practitioners to support students with individual or additional needs in the classroom, in 1:1 sessions and as part of small group support. Ability to offer emotional literacy (ELSA), or English as an Additional Language (EAL) support would be desirable but not essential.
The hours of work for 5 days (37 hours) per week are 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday with 30 minutes unpaid break each day. Alternatively the working pattern for 3 days per week would be 8.30am – 4.30pm either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday (4pm finish on a Friday)

Salary: Point 5 to Point 7 on the Support Staff Pay Scale depending on qualifications and experience. Study Support Assistant is paid at Point 5 and Study Support Practitioner is paid on the range Point 6 rising to Point 7. The annual salary for a full-time post in the range Point 5 to Point 7 is £25,159pa to £25,951 which is £21,094pa to £21,758 prorated for 37 hours pw term time only (0.838fte 43.6 weeks paid per year).
