News Students Learn About Careers in Marketing 01.04.2020

Ex Collyer’s student Evie Rolland returned to the Ofsted outstanding sixth form college recently to talk to students about careers in marketing and the creative industry. Evie is now on a Degree Apprenticeship programme at Unilever, where she works as digital lead for Walls Ice Cream and is also assistant brand manager for Carte D’or, Grom and Swedish Glace.

Collyer’s Head of Media Studies Jonathan Nunns was delighted: “Evie has done so well at Unilever and we are incredibly proud of her success. It is really inspiring for students to meet someone who left college very recently, yet has achieved so much and travelled so far in such a short space of time. She is a genuine role model.”

Collyer’s Deputy Principal Steve Martell said: “It was amazing to welcome Evie back to Collyer’s and we are really looking forward to working with her on our “Next Steps” programme of employability events in 2020/21.

“Huge thanks to Jonathan and Evie for making today’s event possible. The next generation of talented Collyer’s students loved it!”
